Refund Policy

We offer refunds only while your order has not yet entered the printing stage. Once printing begins, all sales are final.

Key rule: Refunds are issued only if your order has not yet reached the Processing stage. When your order status changes to Processing, printing has already started and the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

1. Overview

Digital Nilkhet requires 100% advance payment via bKash before any work begins. Because printing uses paper, ink, and labour that cannot be recovered once started, our refund policy is strict: you may receive a full refund only while your order is still awaiting printing.

This policy applies to all orders placed through digitalnilkhet.com and is governed by the laws of Bangladesh. By placing an order, you agree to the terms set out on this page and in our Terms of Service.

2. When You Are Eligible for a Refund

You may request a full refund if all of the following apply:

  • Your payment has been confirmed and your order status is Payment Confirmed
  • Printing has not yet started — your order has not moved to the Processing stage
  • You cancel the order through your dashboard or contact us before printing begins

You can check your order status at any time in your order dashboard. Eligible orders show a “Cancel Order” option. If that button is no longer visible, printing has likely already started and a refund is no longer possible.

Refunds cover the full order amount, including printing, binding, cover, delivery, and any express surcharges paid.

3. When Refunds Are Not Available

No refund will be issued once printing has started. This includes any order at the following stages or beyond:

  • Processing — printing is in progress
  • Quality Check — printed materials are being inspected
  • Ready for Dispatch — order is packed and awaiting courier pickup
  • Dispatched — order is with the courier
  • Delivered — order has been delivered

Refunds are also not available in the following situations:

  • You selected incorrect print specifications (paper size, colour, binding, copies) and printing has already begun
  • You uploaded the wrong file and printing has already begun
  • You change your mind after printing has started
  • Minor colour variations, slight trimming differences, or other tolerances normal in commercial printing
  • Delays caused by incorrect delivery address or an unreachable phone number provided by you

Please review your order summary carefully before completing payment. Once printing starts, your order proceeds through production and delivery as confirmed at checkout.

4. How to Request a Refund

To cancel an eligible order and request a refund:

  1. Self-service:Log in, open your order, and click “Cancel Order” while the order status is still Payment Confirmed. A refund will be initiated automatically.
  2. Contact support: Email [email protected] or call +880 1719-325917 with your order number. We will confirm whether printing has started before processing your request.

Refund requests received after printing has begun will be declined. We recommend acting promptly if you need to cancel — orders move to Processing as soon as our production queue picks them up, which may be within minutes of payment confirmation during business hours.

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Method: bKash only, returned to the same bKash account used for the original payment
  • Amount: Full order total as paid at checkout
  • Timeline: 5–7 business days (Sunday – Thursday, excluding public holidays)
  • Notification: You will receive an SMS and email once the refund has been sent

If you do not receive your refund within 7 business days, contact us with your order number and original bKash Transaction ID (TrxID). We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

We do not charge a cancellation fee for eligible refunds. However, bKash or your mobile banking provider may apply their own transaction fees, which are outside our control.

6. Refunds Initiated by Us

In rare cases, Digital Nilkhet may cancel your order and issue a full refund without a request from you. This applies when:

  • We are unable to print your file due to a technical error on our side
  • Your uploaded file is corrupted, unreadable, or unsuitable for printing and cannot be resolved before printing begins
  • We discover prohibited content in your upload, as defined in our Terms of Service
  • We are unable to fulfil your order due to a system or supply failure on our end
  • A duplicate payment was made for the same order

In these cases, we will notify you by SMS and email and process a full refund to your bKash account within 5–7 business days, regardless of order stage.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

This section covers quality issues after delivery — not cancellations. If your order arrives damaged in transit or we made a clear printing error (wrong specifications applied by us, missing pages, severe print defects), contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photographs.

For verified quality or transit issues, we will reprint and redeliver at no extra cost rather than issue a cash refund. A cash refund for delivered orders is considered only if reprinting is not feasible.

This does not apply to orders where you selected incorrect specifications or uploaded the wrong file — those are your responsibility once printing has started.
